Christy Shore, Owner
Since I was a young girl I have always had a love for travel and culture. I founded Christy Smith Travel in 2017 and in the next few years added other travel advisors to my team. Five years later in 2022 we grew so much as an agency that I rebranded to Sunburst Destinations, LLC! We are devoted travel advisors ready to serve you!
I am a Mom of two amazing children and a sweet Multipoo pup named Cupcake!
Lynn Wood, Travel Advisor
I grew up in a Navy family, which gave me the chance to call many places across the United States home. After spending 24 wonderful years in Frederick, Maryland, raising my family, I relocated to Rockville last year and have been enjoying this new chapter of life. I’m the proud mom of two adult daughters: Danielle, who is married to an Air Force pilot and recently made me a grandmother for the first time, and Taylor, who lives in Orlando and works as a performer at Universal Studios.
As an empty nester, I felt ready to begin something new and meaningful. While continuing my full-time career, I wanted a venture that would bring joy, connection, and purpose to my evenings and weekends. Joining Christy’s team felt like the perfect fit because I truly love helping friends, family, and clients plan special trips and turn their travel dreams into lasting memories.
